Meetings with members of the scientific committee of the Agronomists World Academy Foundation
The preliminary meetings of the Foundation's representatives are coming to an end, President Andrea Sisti the CEO Mattia Busti and the Director of the Scientific Committee Marcella Cipriani with the members of the scientific committee of the different countries; the meetings are aimed at presenting the organizational aspects of the AWAF foundation, of the WAAforAGenda2030 Plan in detail, and the role and tasks of the Scientific Committee, the exchange of ideas, expectations and prospects.
The 26 May we met the members of Chile Guillermo V. Donoso and Antonio Yaksic Soulé with the presence of the Chilean board member of the foundation Claudio Ortiz.
The 2 July with the Italian members of the scientific committee, Francesca Cionco, Antonio Brunori and Noureddin Driouech had the opportunity to deepen the issues relating to the agricultural development of the Mediterranean basin, European Community policies and sustainable forest management in Italy and in the Balkans.

The main tasks of the Scientific Committee
The most important role of the Scientific Committee is the evaluation of sustainable projects to be financed through working groups and advisory committees; another role is the proposition on topics of scientific interest of the country or of the member of the committee collaborating in the creation of a journal to be published on the 6 Focus Area of WAAforAGENDA 2030, on reports from countries and on other topics of global interest (Dies, specific food productions, production methods)
Work together to implement the formation of sustainable agronomists, through the creation of five masters one for each focus area.
Support the foundation for the realization of virtual itineraries through the farms of the world
Together we will be the reference point for sustainable development in the world
