Scientific Committee
The Scientific Committee is the Reference Body of the Foundation for Scientific Research, the culture, training and innovation as well as for the planning of activities. Exercises proactive and advisory functions. The Scientific Committee carries out the functions provided for in Art.. 20 Statute. In particular, it carries out the following activities: assists the Board of Directors in the preparation of the foundation's programmes of activities. proposes research programmes and projects, innovation and training with the related financial plans to be presented to potential funders for the award of grants and scholarships for research covered by the Foundation's aims. offers cultural initiatives taking care of the collaboration with experts, research and business studies centres, public and private institutions, ensuring the link between the foundation's work and the most authoritative voices in the culture of sustainable development in the areas within which the foundation's work is carried out. expresses its opinion on the foundation's important initiatives, in particular for the signing of Framework Conventions with reference universities and research and training centres. Prepares the guidelines for the Committee's multiannual and annual plan identifies and proposes the members of the Project Evaluation Committee in general and in particular the waaforagenda2030 action plan projects, which will form part of the advisory committees used by the Board of Directors of the Foundation. Delivers opinion on the appointment of the Managing Director.
