The Foundation
The Agronomist World Academy Foundation was established on 4 August 2020 with repertoire n. 80.810, collection n. 25.613 by the notary Marco Carbonari and recorded in Perugia on 03.09.2020 with the n. 16176 with tax code n. 94175640542.
The Foundation is registered in accordance with Articles. 3 and 4 of the D.P.R.. 10/02/2000 N. 361 to the Register of Legal Entities at the Prefecture of Perugia at. 1255 General Part and n. 1256 Analytical Part.
The Foundation was established in implementation of the resolution of the General Assembly of the World Association of Agronomist-WAA/Associacion Mundial des Ingegneros Agronoms – AMIA of the 17 September 2015 on the occasion of the 6th Congress held in Milan.
After the experience of EXPO2015 in which the World Association of Agronomists has created and managed an exhibition pavilion for the duration of six months from 1 May 2015 per 31 October 2015, in addition to the preparatory and implementation phase, the conviction has matured that in order to better operate, in different international contexts and to support national associations and orders belonging to the WAA, a Foundation with a permanent headquarters in a country that can manage and promote the Association's initiatives as well as preserve, enhance and develop the intangible and material heritage of the same and the related partnerships that the Association has developed over time.

The Foundation is not for profit, it will not be able to distribute profits and will have as its exclusive purpose the pursuit of objectives of general interest and public utility in all countries and in particular the spread of the culture of agronomic and forestry sustainability as a factor of human growth, civil and democratic.
The Foundation aims to promote scientific and technological research in the agronomic sector, forest, territorial, rural, environmental, landscape development and more generally sustainable development as well as the dissemination of the relevant results, in order to make them available to professionals and global operators. The Foundation has, In addition, the promotion of cultural initiatives in the field of education, that respond to the need to increase scientific knowledge, managerial preparation, entrepreneurial action, cultural development in the agronomic sciences, agri-food industries, Environmental, landscape and more generally sustainable development at both national and international level.
To this end,, the Foundation on the basis of the United Nations Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions in Paris of the 20 October 2005 referring to the provisions of the international instruments adopted by UNESCO concerning cultural diversity and the exercise of cultural rights, in particular the Universal Declaration on the Cultural Diversity of the 2001 and on the principles of the Universal Charter of the Agronomist of the 18 September 2015 its particular objective is cultural training, professional research and innovation in the sustainable development of members of each country in the World Association of Agronomist-WAA/Associacion Mundial des Ingegneros Agronoms – AMIA.
Promotes, organize internships, workshop, master, Seminars, laboratories, training courses, update, improvement and specialization in the science of sustainable agronomic and forestry development and in the culture of sustainable agronomic and forestry development, also for the qualification and dissemination of culture on agri-food production and sustainability education, for the construction of excellent training courses, to translate cultural development into qualified operational capacities and for the dissemination of a culture of sustainability at all levels.
The Foundation will work in concert with the World Association of Agronomists (also World Association of Agronomist- WAA/Association Mondiale des Ingénieurs Agronomes/Associacion Mundial des Ingenieros Agrònomos-AMIA) and will support its activity.
