President

The President of the Agronomist World Academy Foundation (Awaf) has the prerogatives defined by art. 16 of the Articles of Association and is elected by the Board of Directors by a two-thirds majority, chairs the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee and the College of Participants. The President, In addition, promotes the activities of the Foundation, oversees the application of the Statutes and Regulations, oversees the implementation of the resolutions of the Board of Directors and coordinates the various bodies in order to ensure the proper functioning of the Foundation.

The current President, the first in the history of the Foundation (Awaf), in office by the 02 December 2020, is Andrea Sisti.
